Help shape the legal and operational layer behind royalty remediation. You'll translate real-world music agreements, royalty claims, and payment disputes into product workflows independent labels can trust.
What you'll help shape
- Royalty remediation playbooks for unmatched, underpaid, and disputed royalties
- Contract review workflows across recording, producer, side artist, and label split agreements
- Claim triage for copyright disputes, split conflicts, audit issues, and payment holds
- GTM messaging for labels, managers, accountants, and music attorneys
What we're looking for
- Music attorney with hands-on rights, royalties, or label/payment experience
- Strong understanding of recording agreements, producer agreements, side artist agreements, label splits, and royalty provisions
- Experience with royalty claims, audits, remediation, copyright litigation, or settlement disputes
- Comfort turning messy legal/business issues into practical product requirements
- Credibility with labels, artists, managers, publishers, or music business operators
- Clear writing, commercial judgment, and early-stage startup energy
